About Me

Software Engineer

I come from Providence, RI, and was born in the Dominican Republic. Currently, I am a recent graduate from Columbia University with a BS in Computer Engineering as part of Columbia’s 3-2 Combined Plan Engineering Program. My educational journey began at Providence College, where I completed the first portion of the program and earned a BS in Applied Physics in 2023.

Throughout my studies, I have cultivated a strong foundation in software development, networking, and hardware design. While I am currently seeking for Entry-Level roles in Software Engineering, my ultimate goal is to become a Full Stack Engineer. I am also deeply interested in Cybersecurity and other areas within the technology sector. My experiences and skills make me well-prepared to contribute effectively to the Technology Industry.

Software Development

My academic journey in Computer Engineering has equipped me with diverse programming language skills, including C/C++, Java, and Python, along with a deep understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms. I possess both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, enabling me to navigate industry trends and deliver innovative solutions in software engineering.

Network Software

My journey in Network Engineering, both academically and professionally, has been filled with hands-on learning. I've engaged in projects involving blockchain, the mini reliable transport protocol, network streaming, data packet management, and routing with DVR. During my network engineering internship, I configured routers and switches, provided server maintenance, and gained insights into optimizing network setups

Hardware Design

My academic journey in hardware design has been instrumental in my understanding of modern chip architecture. Courses like Advanced Logic Design, Systems-On-Chips, and Embedded Systems have equipped me with a deep understanding of FPGA utilization, utilizing SystemVerilog and C to develop drivers. This background has prepared me to excel in hardware design projects and contribute effectively to innovative chip development.
